City in East Kalimantan Ready to Be the Capital of Indonesia

In the midst of the central government's plan to move the capital of the country to Kalimantan, East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) offers itself as a candidate for a new capital. Kaltim wants to compete with Palangkaraya City, which was firstly named as a prospective capital of Indonesia to replace Jakarta.
